This cycle track owes its name to its form: it looks like a butterfly. This "bicycle butterfly" consists of four cycle trails with a length of approximately 70 kilometer. During planning it was also thought of those who are not very athletic bikers and specialy with children. So every wing of the butterfly has a short cut route, which at about 30 kilometers can be covered within a few hours.

All ways are designed in a way, that you return to your starting point of your bike tour. The cycle track offers an ideal possibility to enjoy the natural beauty of the franc height and to have the other special features of our region at the sametime. for example you could combine your cycle tour with a visit to the hawk farm in Schillingsfürst or a stroll around the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber By the way: We gladly make bikes available for you - for free, of course.
